Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Interventionist

• Provide 1:1 behavior intervention to consumers/students in home, school (including school bus), and/or community settings
• Conduct ongoing data collection to track client progress
• Assist with the writing of progress reports
• Assist with school staff and parent education on ABA and ABA programs
• Collaborate with colleagues, school staff, paraprofessionals, and client families
• Follow case supervisor instructions and express any questions or concerns to supervisorial staff
• Maintain quality and consistency of each program
• Follow all agency policies and protocols
• Implement individualized behavior plans

• Must possess a current RBT certification (training will be provided if not yet certified)
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred (or actively pursuing a BA/BS)
• RBT credential in good standing with the BACB
• Minimum 1 year of ABA experience working with children with developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid CA driver's license, clean DMV record, valid registration, and proof of auto insurance
• Reliable transportation to commute throughout assigned service areas
• Regular and punctual attendance required
• Cleared background check (Livescan)

This position involves indoor/outdoor environments including homes, classrooms, school buses, and community settings. The role is high-energy, interactive, and physical in nature.

• May encounter challenging behaviors including physical aggression, elopement, and property destruction
• Must use appropriate behavior intervention techniques; agility and quick reflexes required
• Required to walk, sit, run, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to independently lift up to 55 lbs
